“We met at my dad’s Lace ‘Em Up Basketball Camp in Red Lake Falls he holds every year, when we were either 12 or 13.  My dad coached at Clearbrook/Gonvick for over 25 years, and during that time got to know many players he had come coach at the camp.  One of those was from Bagley, Danny Fisher. He encouraged him to bring some kids from that area (about 45 miles away from RLF). Danny was able to get Josh’s dad to let him come to the camp for a week and have fun, meeting new friends. Josh actually stayed at our house most of that week and we had a blast! From that point on, we have always stayed in touch and became good friends as the result.  It’s hard to believe that we’ve known each other for almost 30 years now.  If you asked me even 10 years ago if I thought I’d be in business with Josh, I probably would have answered no.  I’ve come to realize how impactful this has been to have a guy like Josh on my team with so much business knowledge and experience in this particular business to ensure our clients are taken care of.  I feel very fortunate that things have worked out how they have.  We were opponents in HS, but now we make one heck of a team doing business together!”
